This set of figures is the Cavalier Adventure Pack, featuring an armoured knight on foot, and the same character mounted on a charging warhorse. The Cavalier, like the ADD21 Barbarian, was a new addition to the AD&D rules with the release of the Unearthed Arcana supplement in late 1985.
ADD48 - Cavalier
Cavalier on foot. This is the foot figure, wearing full plate armour under his surcoat, and a full-face great helm with a hinged visor and a tall plume. A light mace and a scabbard hang from his belt, and he wields a broad-bladed two-handed sword.
Cavalier mounted. The mounted figure is identically armoured, but he holds a long lance in his right hand and a shield on his left arm. His helmet visor is closed.
Lance. Same sculpt as that used for ADD10 Mounted Fighter in Platemail
ADD48 - Cavalier Mount
The Cavalier's horse wears a full-length caparison decorated with a rampant griffon design, and an armoured, plumed face-plate.
