Games Workshop/Citadel Miniatures produced the Dungeonquest boardgame in the 1980s. Dungeonquest featured 4 solid-based plastic Citadel miniatures as part of the game components. Heroes For Dungeonquest was created as an expansion set of 12 metal slottabased miniatures for the Dungeonquest game, featuring figures culled from other Citadel ranges. There was an additional expansion called Catacombs For Dungeonquest which included no figures. GW later recycled the names of the 4 original character figures for metal figures that bear no relation to the original plastics.
Dungeonquest
